I just wanted to give an update on how my 2015 intentions have been panning out so far.
Travel Plans:
  • Disney World in April – We are working on planning our days and figuring out how the Fast Passes work…when did Disney become so complicated?
  • Costa Rica in July (just me and Eric!) – The flights and hotels are booked so at some point, we will start looking at everything we want to do while we’re there, but we have some time. You can read more about our plans here.
  • Possibly a weekend trip with the kids
  • A weekend trip with just me and Eric

Family Fun – We hope to do something fun with the kids at least once a month and are planning to do the following activities as a family this year:

  • Movie Night – We had a movie night and watched Maleficent. Anya loved it and Felix seemed to enjoy the parts he actually sat down to watch.
  • Game Night – We did a game night with the kids in January. Felix lasted until about halfway through, and then we had to stop and put him to bed. We played 8 games and Anya made a score card to keep track of how many games everyone one. She ended up winning the entire game night and was pretty proud of herself!

We put the names of the games in Felix’s shoe and the kids took turns drawing one so we knew which game to play next.

Anya made a scorecard so we could keep track of how many games everyone won!

  1. You have a lot on your plate! It seems you are really motivated to get it all done. I love the idea of doing the service projects.

  2. Tammy says:

Oh my what a busy woman you are. I live not too far from Mickey’s house and you will love it. Fast Pass isn’t really that hard to figure out. It just takes time to get there, get all your passes and then take it from there. That takes a bit of planning. April should be a nice time to come. Not too hot yet.

I love your idea of making a dinner at McDonald house. I would love to help with something like that.

  3. Holly says:

I went through the kids books and puzzles yesterday because they were taking over the bookshelf in the family room. There are still a lot there, but it was so nice to be able to get rid of some and they are no longer overflowing off the shelf.

  4. I so want to go to Costa Rica with my whole family, My mom’s husband and her husband are missionaries there, but they are getting older. Love playing Sequence!
